Have you ever had that urge to put bacon on absolutely everything you eat? Well I have and this recipe was a life saver on a lonely Wednesday night. Over at Nosheteria they have come up with a delicious way to add your favorite food, bacon, to delicious popcorn! And the kicker to the whole thing is that the popcorn is actually cooked in the bacon grease! How amazing does that sound.
So first thing’s first, fry up that bacon. Make sure it’s nice and crunchy and greasy.
Once that is done, remove the bacon strips and place them on a paper towel, dabbing them to get some of the grease off if you prefer.
Now pour the popcorn kernels into the pan full o’ bacon grease and put a lid over the kernels. You’ll start to hear the popcorn popping, wait until you feel like all the kernels have popped and remove the lid.
Pour the popcorn into a bowl
Cut up the bacon strips and sprinkle them over the popcorn and Enjoy.
